Private Chef Bio: Martha Hunt

Chef Martha Hunt was lucky to recognize her two passions in life at an early age; great food and Skiing. She has since lived her life accordingly, creating great food where she could ski.

After attending the Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in London, Martha spent over a decade honing her cooking skills in the Alps, at various resorts and restaurants and as a personal chef for European ski chalets. In 1988 Martha opened her first restaurant and lodge in the Scottish Highlands, followed in 1992 by the Swiss Chalet Restaurant in Crested Butte, Colorado. After Fifteen successful years as the Chef and Owner, Martha sold the ‘Swiss’ and moved to Whitefish where she is now offering to bring …Fondue to you!

Martha is partnered with her husband Jim Finneran in this new culinary venture. Jim has worked in the service industry for over 25 years, serving, bartending and hosting at some of the best restaurants on the East coast and resort towns of Aspen and Crested Butte, Colorado. While Martha is cooking, Jim will take care of the service for yourself and guests, allowing you to sit back, relax and enjoy your party.
